Purchased 2 of these in Jan. '16. Made of all metal with only a few brass components; no plastic parts which is likely a negative as quality plastic parts will stand up. Easy to install in spite of initial leakage issues which were ironed out. Stop drain feature worked well. Here we are 6 months later. Close inspection reveals many components are made of cheap chromed steel and are rusting. For products this new, the rust is bad enough that it is very evident; in 2 yrs there will likely be severe rusting and leakage. The ad says, 'solid brass'; not so - most components that look like brass are only coated to look like brass - rust is forming on these as well as the cheap steel components. Do not buy this product!

This particular type of drain was not available locally so I purchased from Amazon. It's been in use for about two years and have not had any problems.

Does not hold the water in the sink good. You need to remove the top gasket and put putty instead.

Excellent product for the price. Arrived on time and was as described.
