Video Test & Review
I recently chose this battery tester based on good reviews and its reasonable value for money. The device is primarily made of plastic, is very lightweight, yet adequately solid, and fits comfortably in the hand. The red slider adjusts up and down for various battery sizes. It does not require any additional power to operate; the batteries being tested power the LED lights when the contacts are touched. On the back, there is an embossed chart displaying the voltage ranges corresponding to the LED power indications. This is useful for those who want to know more specific technical details. The display has seven LEDs, with only one illuminating at any given time. It has a range of three in both the green and red zones, with one yellow LED in the middle. Therefore, if any of the green LEDs light up, the battery should still be functional, but with lower power as it nears the left side of that zone, and so on. I tested all battery types (see attached video) except for D, as I didn’t have any, and received a reading in each case, indicating it works as intended. Sometimes, you may need to slightly adjust the battery between the metal contacts a couple of times to obtain a stable result. The advantage of this device is that it allows you to sort through numerous old batteries quickly. Some may indicate they are fully powered, while others are ready for disposal, for example when a remote starts to malfunction, it could simply be one of its two batteries needing replacement rather than both. Also, some batteries I tested were in the yellow or lower green zone, so pairing them into one device could help ensure they eventually run out at roughly the same time, and then replace both with new. All good so far. -Pros: • Good value for money • Works as expected • Easy to use • Good accuracy/readability • Nice, simple design • Tests six battery types • No additional power required -Cons: • Button cells can be fiddly to secure between contacts Overall, this is a great little device that is easy to use, and may eventually pay for itself if you have a kitchen drawer full of old batteries with unknown potential. I am happy to recommend this, so it’s five stars from me. Thanks for reading, I hope you found this review helpful

Nifty little gadget
Arrived very fast with prime, so I was able to test the leftover batteries I had quickly giving me time to order some new ones. Yes the tester feels a little cheap and lightweight, however this works in its favour keeping costs down as it was well priced. It worked relatively well and is nice and compact to keep in a drawer. The red slider is a little stiff but I think it will loosen up with longer use. Some batteries didn’t light up the device, I can only assume they were very dead. I had lights for all colours indicating good, low and empty batteries. Is it very easy and straightforward to use. Pros: ✅ small and compact- easy to store ✅ cheap but works ✅ easy to use and read the battery levels Cons: ❌ flimsy material ❌ slider stiff on first use

May have a strong test result, may not necessarily last very long once already used.
Very helpful device. Helpful to determine if batteries are loosing power. Simple to use.

Very good little battery tester
Very good little battery tester, I've saved a ton of old batts that I found when doing a family house clearance, nearly all are good to the batter tester was well worth the cost. Easy to use, and nice bright indicator light. Very useful that the item itself doesn't need a battery.

Great product and so inexpensive it’s worth every penny
Great product, it’s so simple to use, just move the red slider to the battery being tested, AA for example, slot your battery in the gap and it will instantly show you if the battery is Good, Low or needs replacing. I went through all my Xmas batteries I used, that I thought were no longer any good and found 75% to be good. The green good section has 3 levels which shows how good the battery is. Just pair up batteries of the same level and no more throwing away batteries that have life left in them. This little gadget has saved me a lot of money and worth every penny. Definitely recommended this.

Basic, simple to use battery tester
Only just received this and have used on AAs and AAAs so far but seems a great improvement on our old (equally basic) battery tester. Easy to use, positive and consistent results and doesn't need its own batteries. Feels a bit light and flimsy but it is cheap. Does the job so happy with it.

Battery Bliss
I can’t believe this is so great for under a fiver! It works and has saved me discarding perfectly good batteries. I like the way it shows a gradient of power so I can check when battles are getting low and replace. Best gadget ever!

Not a refined measuring scale.
Optimistic readings. It shows tired batteries as being OK. Anything other than a perfect reading we regard as nearly flat. So, it will show dead batteries up, but the scale between perfect and dead isn’t right in reality.
