Genie Hand – Time Lock Safe Weekly/Daily Timer – B-Class Lock – Anti Bounce Technology

I bought this safe about 9 months ago. I use it so I can cut down on smoking cigarettes. The safe works great. It does as what I expect it to do and now I smoke a lot less than before owning the safe. If you follow the manual that's included it is easy to setup. The time unlock feature is great and it was the reason why I bought the safe. You can basically set any time of the week and anytime of the day to keep it locked and to unlock it. There are many different memory settings to set when to lock it and when it's unlockable so you can set each day to a different time. You can also set it to lock and unlock multiple times in one day. You can set many different combinations of day and time. There are not good reviews and I'm not sure why. I also had issues with the safe but it was user error on my end. After reading the manual again I was able to use the safe without any issues. Keep the manual and make sure to read it if it's not working how you want it to. Usually the settings are not set correctly when you think that there is an issue with it. This is a very great safe and the price is great for the feature that it provides. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this item and it worked for a few months. However, the time lock mechanism simply stopped working. The keypad was working fine and the red light on the chord was illuminated. Be that as it may, it doesn't open. The safe comes with a pair of keys which is fine. But if you can easily open it with keys, then it's simply a storage device - not a time lock safe. Do yourself a favor and find a different option from a reputable safe manufacturer. It may cost more but it will save you $ in the long run. I shelled out $235 for nothing. Don't be me.

The safe is comparably sturdy and strong to other safes of similar size and appearance. That is to say, if someone had an industrial blowtorch or other specialized equipment and was willing to spend significant time and money brute forcing it open through the top, back, or sides, I'm sure it would be possible. But no one is getting in using standard household objects. The time function works perfectly, just make sure to read the manual to the letter to properly program it and make sure to test it before locking up/giving away the keys to prevent your own ability to override the timing functionality. It's not perfectly intuitive, and requires some finagling to figure out how to program it the way you want, but it's NOT rocket science and doesn't take more than 10-15 minutes or so. It could take longer if you want to have additional complexity to which times of each day you want it to work, etc, but once it's set up it's set up for good and the option to be able to customize it SO much is extremely valuable and appreciated. I screwed up initially when programming it and thought I had tested it and it was working properly so I mistakenly locked up the keys with the expectation I would be able to use my code to open it back up during the time frame I had set when the need arose. However, the code didn't work when I expected it to so I contacted the seller who quickly offered to send an additional key free of charge and walk through the programming I had done with me to see if it was human error and if not, to replace the whole thing for free if it was indeed malfunctioning and a result of the product itself. They key arrived very quickly for coming from the other side of the world and immediately upon unlocking it and viewing the settings I had input, it was clear that it was my fault the code wasn't working since I had somehow changed the mode to accept only the key and ignore the timelock functionality. After additional rigorous testing, the timelock functionality is clearly working as intended once I fixed my mistake. So in the end, the safe does exactly what it's meant to do and the seller was kind enough to fix a problem I had caused free of charge and very quickly, which goes to show how much they care about their customers. So all in all, I highly recommend this product and it is completely worth the money if other cheaper options have not worked because you, like me, have exploited their weak build quality and brute forced through to access the contents inside. That is simply impossible with this product and I also really like the fallback of always being able to access the contents with the keys in case of emergency or if the timelock functionality actually DOES malfunction. (this is extremely important given the sturdiness and impossibility of brute forcing it open.) Just lock one inside and give the other to someone you trust for safekeeping and you will have complete peace of mind while still being able to fully use this product for its purpose and function. I have used multiple other timelock boxes and while this is by far the most costly, it is far and away the best at what it is intended for while having complete customization that isn't present on other options. This is the endgame for this category of product. Once you buy one, you will never ever need another. The only real gripe (which is less of a gripe and more of a request) I have is that it is not fireproof. If there was an option for a more expensive, fire/waterproof version of this product, I would be happy to buy it for a dual purpose willpower aid and actual SAFE safe for important documents in the case of disaster. Perfect two birds with one stone scenario.

I have researched and experimented with time lock safes for about 6 years and have come to the conclusion that this safe is by far the most effective. Others that I’ve tried are usually very easily overridden rendering them useless. This safe can’t be overridden. It is nearly impossible to break into unless you have serious demolition tools such as a cutting torch. Normal house hold tools will not be effective at breaking into this safe. The timer gives you complete flexibility on times that the safe can be opened and is easily adjusted depending on your schedule. I own probably 15 of these safes at various properties. On 2 occasions I received a defective safe. On both occasions I email the address on the manual and Dan promptly replied and sent a brand new replacement at no cost and zero inconvenience to me. Much like Amazon understands the importance of customer service I believe Dan understands as well. I will remain loyal to this safe for years to come as a result of its superior performance and the fact that it is backed by outstanding customer service.

I originally did quite a bit of research and spent some time before deciding on purchasing this safe. I like the different mode options but the main selling point for me was the time lock capabilities. I set everything up, which isn't very difficult or take much time, and it was working great for awhile. Then some of the modes weren't working properly, and I could only use my keys to open the safe. I reached out for assistance and the response time was amazing. I shared some videos of what was going on, answered a few questions and within about a day of working with Dan, specifically, I will be getting a replacement shipped to me. Excellent customer service! Perfect safe for me.

It's extremely useful and reliable. The only thing is becareful about setting the timer up because if you set it up wrong it wont open! I once locked myself out of it and had to order a new key. They sent it within 24 hours from Italy and were helpful on video chat to get it opened correctly. Overall a great product

Ich bin total begeistert von der Qualität des Tresors, dieser wurde nämlich verbessert. Der Verkäufer ist auch sehr zuvorkommend und man kann sehr gut mit ihm reden. Ich empfehle den Tresor mit der Timer Funktion und schaffe mi damit manchmal Handy und TV freie Zeiten. Dies kann ich nur empfehlen und es eine totale Bereicherung für das Leben. 説明書が雑。中の電源が落ちた程度で設定リセットは少し残念。タイマーにバッテリー残量の表示かそれか、電源コード側ならバッテリー切れしそうなら赤色、大丈夫であれば緑色など光る仕様にしてくれたら…せっかく電源コード側に赤く光るライトがついているのにその意味が無い。
