They are very generous in size and have enough substance to them that they'r easy to write on and easy to hang. I used them at my son's birthday party to label the drinks, garbage cans, be direction signs.... they looked great and worked even better. I used the VersaChalk markers on them for the party and going forward I wouldn't recommend using them again on these boards (unless you want them be one time use only) as the markers left horrible ghost images on the boards that are going to be permanent but the boards are SO great that I'll happily buy more to replace the ones the markers ruined. They're also going to make great gift tags for the extra large gifts. Please note I received this product at a discount in exchange for an unbiased review. (And then bought more of them at regular price because I was so impressed with them.) ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not as good as iIthought *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 21, 2016* Two of the six chalkboards would not accept chalk. I had to press really hard to get to write it on the three I was able to use. Since I wanted to be able to use these over and over, I used chalk instead of liquid chalk markers.
