Anyway that's not important, my suggestion is if you're like me and muddle in electronics very occasionally I would buy something less expensive. I feel a 2 channel would've been more than enough for my needs. I wanted to future proof so I busted out the extra cheddar for a 4 channel but now I highly doubt I'll ever learn how to use this thing even near its potential. That being said the build quality and feel is good. I am impressed with the ease of use and abilities of this scope. Even though I am comfortable with using an oscilloscope I went through the us -+++ers manual page by page. I found the best source of signals to learn how to use this scope. I opened up a wireless mouse and attached the probes to the optical sensor leads. This gave me signals to test almost all of the functions of the scope.
