Very nice strop. And works well. I was hoping for something a tad larger, but is is sufficienlty large and works well. Others I'm sure will think it's plenty large. The compound is also nice to have and to put that final bit of edge and remove the burs. Good quality leather.

leather strop is fine. Just find a way to use it where it doesn't slip around. After seeing some critiques, I'm not sure if the green compound is good. But for the price, I am happy with it. The type that is mounted to a board may be easier to use.

It does work, but packaging was pretty damaged. For the cost, it was worth it. Doesn’t make a razor blade, but my knife is definitely sharper than before.

excellent quality strop

Some reviews say it is too small and a few others say the strop just isn't of high quality. I could not disagree more. Mine is absolutely what I needed, since my old one finally did wear out. If you only sharpen large kitchen knives, then a larger strop would be ideal, but I have used it on small pocket knives up to large knives and cleavers and have achieved great results. For the price and quality, I would give it six stars if I could.

Good strop. Not much to say, it’ll clean up your edge after a whetstone, making it straight and ready to cut. Good use of a last step in sharpening your knife. You don’t need any crazy ones; this one does the job and fits in your knife bag. Easy and quick way to finish off your blade.

This was my first strop, so I went very basic. It is really nice quality and value for the money. It is easy to use, thought the compound is a little dry - so you have to follow the instructions. With very little effort, I was able to get all my blades hair popping, razor sharp. I am going to also get the wooden backed one, and keep this as a travel/bag unit. Really really happy and highly recommend.

Disappointed. I will keep it as a backup. 8x3 inches may be o.k. for a three inch folding blade or carving tools, but there are better options for the price.

It's just as you expect it to be, think it will last a long time, perhaps a tad expensive coming from America, the exchange rate to Uk not very good (2021) but it works well.

Great little strop. My knives always come out sharper. It's big enough I'm gonna split er down the middle and glue a smooth side to a piece of wood and a rough side to the other side of the wood. Maker er nice n sturdy.

Good product, pricey. High price is likely due to the brand reputation.
