There are also rulers at the top and the bottom of the base in both inches and cms. Makes measuring very easy! **Q: Does this have markings for 1/8" & 1/16"?** A: There is a 6 inch ruler at each end of the cutting board; this is marked in 1/8" & 1/16th markings. I love the size of it; not a big space hog.
