Is anyone using this on an aquaclear 110? I have large fancy goldfish & cut off the tips of the intake tubes; now I know why I shouldn't have!

I had to reorder intake tubes. They sell replacement pieces and you can even order several to lengthen intake tubes. I got mine at either Pet Mountain or Chewy. The tube you cut the tip off can be swapped out for less than $6.

Does this fit on the Fluval Spec V?

I don't think so. This pre-filter is designed for the intake tube of the hang-on-back Fluval Power Filters. I watched an unboxing and set up YouTube video by 'pecktech' to familiarize myself with the Spec V. I didn't see any place for this pre-filter. The Spec V has an overflow filtration system built in on the inside of the aquarium.

Will this fit on the aquaclear 70/110 intake tube?

I am not familiar with the Aquaclear, but it was a little too large for the intake tube on my HOB filter. I just packed around the gap at the top with filter floss, and it worked perfectly.
