**Q: How strong are these straps? Have there been any tests with weight or tension on them?**
A: I can't comment on any actual 'tests', but I'm 200 lbs and they have been doing just fine for me.  The straps actually appear to be stonger and of better quality than the originals.  Very pleased!

**Q: So i'm guessing the width is 0.51" and the thickness is actually 0.076" as opposed to the 0.76" advertised?**
A: Yes you are correct, the thickness is more like .076"--- the width is about 1/2 an inch.
