Is it normal for this aftershave to debris floating in it???

Yeah, this is my second one and both have had debris.

Does this aftershave have a long lasting scent???

Not especially. I can notice it myself for about 1/2 to 1 hour after application. Whether others can perceive its scent beyond that I will have to test and get back to you tomorrow.
