This is an excellent bread scoring lame. I have used a previous one for several years and thought I'd add a new one, very nice, comes in a case, so that when I throw it in a drawer, it's protected - the blades are surprisingly sharp - works great for my sourdough bread business!

I love this lame and would search no farther. The handle is ergonomic to hold and use, it works well. It is ready to mount any of the 12 individually wrapped razor blades and score bread with it. The plastic case holds everything including the extra blades, and the top snaps on tightly. This makes it safe to use and to store in the drawer. Search no further. A good value and a delight to use.

Very nice lame WITH case to protect yourself and razor.

After trying serrated knives and other types of lames, this scoring tool works beautifully. I also like the leather pouch to insert the blade when not in use. Also, the plastic case is helpful. Not too expensive. Razors are extremely sharp.

I love using this to score my bread. It came with extra blades and not hard to put together. I keep it in the box for safety reasons. I will be using it a lot because I’m making more homemade bread.

Very good lame kit, with spare blades and a leather blade protector. I like it because of the wood handle, which protects my hand while I score the bread. The case it comes in is also a nice addition, as it keeps everything organized in one place (the last thing I need is sharp objects dancing inside a drawer). Love my purchase.
