I trust this Pelican case to protect my 18650 headlamp batteries. My headlamp is my lifeline underground so protecting the batteries makes sense. This box does just that. Pelican cases are the most durable, waterproof, lightweight, easy to use, and space- efficient boxes you can find. The 1010 is a small box, see photos, but Pelican has a range of box sizes. I’ve got multiple. These boxes do not lock but in my 15 years of using them I have never had the latch open up accidentally in my cave pack. I also use it for water sports!
