Review: Entire series is fabulous - This book is just as good as the rest of the series, but perfectly written so that someone can skip around the series and not feel completely lost. The author does a great job recapping the characters in each book. The entire series is a must read for and dragon-lover or those early readers who enjoy fantasy/adventure. Our 7 year old loves these books, and it keeps mom interested too! Review: My son loves the series. - My son is obsessed with the series. He has read it three times at this point. The books are well written, perfect for the average 3-5th grader. There character development is fantastic, the story line well planned out and all books tie to the previous ones seamlessly.

My son loved these books
My son read all 20 of these books within a month and a half. He is rereading them right now while waiting on the next book to come out. The writing is a little young for him and below his reading level but he loved reading them. If that gets him to read, I'll let him read them all he wants. The stories seem interesting and he talks about them. It's a great series for young readers.

Solid conclusion to the "Astrid" arc
West does it again. Another great book in the Dragon Masters series! Everything you've come to expect and it nicely wraps up the books 18-20 trilogy (and the longer story arc preceding book 18.) (Spoiler ahead) My daughter, age 6, says "Don't be scared of Astrid hurting anyone because everyone is safe at the end."

Fun easy read for an advanced 1st grade reader
My son is reading at an advanced 1st grade / 2nd grade level and he managed to read this book in a day. He loves the characters and thr storyline. He binged the whole series all 24 books in less then a month. If you have a beginning chapter book reader I highly recommend the series. He couldn't help but put his tech and toys down and read every chance he got.

I was not expecting this.
Wow, by the title, you can barely tell what happens. Hello, I am an 8 year old reading and reviewing this book. For each star, I have a reason I gave it that star. โ #1: The book includes a new setting and tons of new people. It gives new points of view, problems, and solutions. โ #2: The people stop Astrid, but there is STILL a cliffhanger. โ #3: There is a new evil person inside the book, making a new person to defeat. To be honest, the solution is good, but I wonโt give it away yetโฆ โ #4: Mina and Caspar were turned back from stone figures. Iโm glad, because if they hadnโt been, I wouldโve gotten more worried. โ #5: Read the title, then read the book. By the title you can barely tell what will happen. Itโs a great book :D

Perfect for kids 5-10
These books are amazing. They are easy to read and really fun. I have been reading the whole series to my 6 year old child and they love it so much. I donโt mind reading it either. The stories are really great for all kids. Both boys and girls are depicted as strong and capable.
