Will this fit in a yeti rambler?

Yes, first bend the metal tabs on the larger lid outward. Mine fits on the ledge on the inside my 18 oz Yeti Rambler. While steeping on just set the lid on top to hold in the heat!

Does this fit a wide mouth insulated water bottle?

It depends. The skinny strainer top I have is 2.02-2.06" (not perfectly round) and the big top is closer to 2.5". My water bottles differ with some having an ID of a little over 2.03", but others almost 2.5". You'll need to know what the ID (inner diameter) of the spout is.
