Had an extra 512gb nvme card from a swap and this works great as a scratch disc for adding photos to a photo frame. Install was straightforward, it includes a heat transfer pad (and extra one) and the finned all aluminum case is well made and feels solid. The outer area does warm up, but that’s exactly the purpose of the heat transfer process to air. It’s just warm to the touch. It comes with a C-C cable but I used an A-C as my desktop doesn’t have C ports and it works fine but a little slower transferring than the laptop with a C port and the included cable.
