This can be used once a week. With no issues. You can lessen it by removing it before it's time. **Q: Is it normal to breakout? Been using this 2 times, 1x week, and brokeout both times around my mouth.** A: It’s your skin purging. It should go away within a couple of days. Around the mouth we tend to have a lot of clogged pores from eating and makeup and such so it has to pull out the gunk and skin often gets a bit worse before it gets better. Took mine months to stop, but now I’m acne free. **Q: Can you use this product while using retin a?** A: I'm not really authorized to answer that. You'd have to ask an esthetician.
