Once we began reading stories to our little one before bedtime we quickly realized that more reading material was required. He enjoyed watching the Curious George episodes and thought it would be fun to make some of his stories more tangible, in the form of a book. We found this book and decided to buy it, due to the number of stories and illustrations. This Curious George Stories to Share book has a good quality hard back binding that is a matte finish. The pages of the book are printed on heavy glossy paper, not easily torn by a toddler, and every page is nicely illustrated. The stories in the book are fun to read and keep our toddler's attention while reading to him. We've owned this book for about ten months and, as you can see in the pictures, it is holding up very well. If you're looking for a good series of Curious George books that are made to last, then this is a good buy. The other two books that we purchased a few months after buying this one, that are part of the same series, are The New Adventures of Curious George and A Treasury of Curious George . My grandson has a rather large monkey that he carries around with him most of the time. I thought that he might enjoy a book about a curious monkey. I remembered that my own children loved the Curious George books, so I bought this for my grandson. The first story was about a fire engine, another favourite of my grandson. So a monkey who gets on a fire engine was perfect for him. It is a great book to read to a little one who wants to hear the same story over and over again.
