However, hubby and I are hammock sleepers and have been sleeping in a slightly larger Mayan hammock together for two years now. We've lost a ton of weight and the larger one was starting to swallow us up, so decided to try something a bit smaller. This doesn't really work. It's fine for lounging together in but not sleeping. It's supposedly 7.5' wide. Unless we've somehow grown almost 2', this isn't the case. More like ~6' stretched to max at its widest point. Also, despite others saying you need a good 13' to hang... our 11'6" long stand is a bit of a stretch and the hammock hangs rather high up off the ground as a result. So, it's sort of useless for what we wanted it for. Just wanted others to know, just in case they're looking for similar reasons! It'd work great for a one-person sleeping hammock though: the thick cotton is a bit more warm than the thinner ones, but still cool for the summer... and also makes it more 'cushy' than the thinner-string ones. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Colors not as pictured. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2014* First hammock bought was the Thick Cord Mayan Hammock XXL multi colored. My father really likes it, so I decided to purchase another and give him the multi colored one. Hammock arrived and the colors "black and natural" is opposite as pictured. Solid color black ends are natural. Went on website to return and it says it's not returnable.
