Nobody Is Listening

This one is art: The vocals-top tier yes, but he shares, so raw that some of it just speaks to your soul The lyrics-poetry in tune. One of my favorite things about this artist is that he likes to play with your interpretation, likes to leave the audience to opt for their experience with double or even triple meanings The production-master level artistry and able to expertly pull from so many genres, artists and eras of music The instrumentalists-I'd go to individual concerts for the drummer, guitarist, bassist The experimentation/signature Zayn-the use of vocal chops or whatever it's called when they use his voice for more than just singing for example The mixing-the sentimental throwbacks mixed with the modern (and this is from someone not into the slurred word trend of singing. He does it tho but I've made peace with it on this work) I recommend listening with headphones to get the intricacies of the stellar production and to pick up on his background vocals and harmonies because some of the instruments do tend to lead your ears. But then again it does add to the experience that on each new listen there is more to find. I'm impressed as usual that he makes music from this kaleidoscope of sound. He pulls things together that shouldn't work but it does. Where he takes uneven tempos, real lyrics or blunt ones, comes on and off the beat effortlessly, purposely leaves in off notes and flows as natural as an ocean wave- both predictable in that there is an inevitable rhythm yet each one an unpredictably different, chaotic beautiful energy. The middle of the album is probably the weakest for me, but in an album of riches there has to be gems among the gold. So its not that the earworm tracks are bad, they are quite entertaining, it's just compared to the other gem quality tracks they felt more commercial. Windowsill being a good example of this-I've chosen it the most from the album to add to my fav playlists, BUT if asked for my favorite song on the album it would never be it. In short, this short album is well worth the experience.

I have always liked Zayn. I enjoyed his work with One Direction, and have purchased all his solo work. I have just gotten around to listening to this. Hard to wrap my head around it initially. It is not very commercial, and the use of really foul language seems gratuitous, but on replay in the car, it just gives you ultimately a very comfortable vibe. His voice is so terrific. Not for the little ones (though it seems that foul language is just the norm these days), but a very nice work.

Perfect! They look perfect and were handled with care. I love this album and am sure those I'm giving this as a gift to will as well. So happy to have them. These are the explicit version so be aware of that. Great price too.

I'm going through a hyperfixation with Zayn and that is the main reason I bought the CD. Came in good condition!

The whole album is phenomenal! I listen to it all the time and have since it's release; it never gets old. The track 'Sweat' alone is worth the purchase. Huge Zayn fan!

Ho comprato questo articolo come regalo per un'amica. Io non sono fan di quest'artista, ma lei che lo è ne è rimasta entusiasta. A detta sua le è piaciuto tanto e lo ha ascoltato per giorni senza interruzioni. All'interno si trova il cd ed un piccolo deplian con su scritti i testi degli 11 brani. L'unica cosa che a me ha colpito è stata la copertina, molto colorata e con un desing molto carino.

El álbum ha llegado en perfectas condiciones. Cuando pido algún álbum me da miedo que pueda llegar con el plástico roto o con las puntas maltratadas. En cuanto al álbum, lo compré en clean version y cada vez que lo pongo me llama la atención escuchar cómo está censurado. Me ha costado mucho encontrarlo, porque después de muchos años he decidido hacerme con todos los álbumes de mis cantantes favoritos. Cuando el vendedor pone ofertas vale la pena comprarlo, aunque no entiendo muy bien que aun siendo prime tenga que pagar los gastos de envío que aumentan según vas añadiendo más productos. Zayn es mi cantante favorito. Hace música única, la que él quiere. No busca ser comercial. Qué feliz me hace escucharlo!
