NASM Certified Personal Trainer Exam Prep: Study Guide that highlights the information required to pass the National Academy of Sports Medicine exam to become a Certified Personal Trainer

I passed the CPT exam on first try. This book helped me summarize facts better than the main textbook did. It clarified a number of things that were not totally clear to me from the exam or the course.

This book does a decent job on breaking down some of the important information, but you still need to buy the real NASM book. I just took and passed my NASM exam today, however this book wasn’t the main reason. I started studying this book before I purchased the “self premium” bundle from NASM. I’m giving it 5 stars because it made me relalize that I wanted to pursue my NASM CPT certification. I wouldn’t just study this book by itself though. Use this book to compliment your other study resources (NASM book to be specific). Also, there are only 50 final exam questions with this book and there are 120 questions on the NASM exam. 50 questions is not enough questions to practice...you need to buy the one of the NASM’s study packages that has their own practice test. The “self premium” bundle that I bought has a lot of practice tests.

Love it! Finally, a book that makes sense. It contains all the key information in a well-organized fashion; meaning, the content makes logical sense in a progressive way. The guide is written in straightforward English (thank you for that!), which makes it so much easy to understand and connect the dots among subjects. The content is fully in-sync with the NASM textbook 5th edition. I would totally recommend​ it.

Best study guide out there. It breaks everything you need for the test domain by domain also including practice test quizzes. I just passed my test today! I couldn't pass without this study guide. Thank youuu for saving my time and making all contents a lot easier.

Useful synopsis of all the important information on the exam. It really helps reiterate information when used in conjunction with the Domain Study Guides provided by the self-study program.
