Excellent model of a less famous WWII tank
Less than 200 of the M26 Pershing tanks were available by the end of WWII, but the M26 was used extensively in Korea. An M26 had a crew of five, and two figures (commander and loader) are included. There are decals for four different markings. Likes: It is molded in olive drab, so it doesn't really need to be repainted. One-piece flexible tracks help speed the assembly. A good historical background is included in the instructions, but technical specifications are only basic. Eight ammo boxes and two K-rations boxes are included. The assembly instructions were easy to follow - as is usual for Tamiya. Dislikes: One (or two) driver figures would have been a nice addition.
