love it
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently purchased the Full-Size Guitar Kit, complete with a padded gig bag, and I'm thrilled to share my experience. As a beginner looking to dive into the world of music, this kit has surpassed all my expectations and has provided everything I needed to start my journey. Here's why it deserves a glowing five-star review: **Quality of the Guitar:** The guitar itself is a masterpiece for beginners and intermediate players alike. The craftsmanship is notable, with a beautiful finish and a comfortable neck that makes learning chords and scales a breeze. The sound quality is impressive, producing clear and rich tones that encourage me to play for hours. It stays in tune well, a testament to its quality construction and the attention to detail from the manufacturer. **Comprehensive Kit:** This kit comes packed with every accessory a beginner could need - a padded gig bag, a tuner, picks, a strap, and even a set of spare strings. It's evident that a lot of thought went into assembling this kit to ensure a beginner has no obstacles to starting their musical journey. The inclusion of a durable gig bag is a major plus, providing convenience and protection for the guitar during transportation. **Padded Gig Bag:** Speaking of the gig bag, it's not just an afterthought. The padding is sufficiently thick, offering great protection against knocks and bumps. The bag also features handy pockets for storing accessories, making it easy to keep everything organized and accessible. The adjustable straps and robust zippers add to the overall convenience and durability. **Ease of Use:** For someone just starting, this guitar kit has made the learning process so much more enjoyable. The guitar's playability, combined with the quality of accessories provided, allows for a seamless learning experience. It's comfortable to play, both standing with the strap or sitting down, making practice sessions something I look forward to. **Value for Money:** Considering the quality of the guitar and the comprehensive nature of the kit, the price is more than reasonable. It's an investment into a hobby that not only adds value but brings immense joy and satisfaction. The affordability does not compromise the quality, which is something not often found in starter kits. **Customer Support:** Although not directly related to the product itself, the customer service experience deserves mention. Any queries I had were addressed promptly and courteously, adding to a positive overall experience with this purchase. In conclusion, the Full-Size Guitar Kit with Padded Gig Bag is an exceptional choice for anyone looking to start their musical journey. It offers incredible value, quality, and a comprehensive set of tools to get you playing right out of the box. Whether you're buying it for yourself or as a gift, it's sure to delight and inspire music lovers of all ages. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone on the fence about where to begin with learning guitar.

Wonderful guitar and case.
Got this guitar to try my hand at modifying an inexpensive guitar before before working on my other guitars. Turns out the guitar played quite well after unboxing and tuning it. I was expecting to work on the frets, but for my level of guitar experience, i could not find any problems. Frets ends were nicely finished, just polished them to make them less scratchy when bending strings. Nonetheless, my goal was to make a few mods so I proceeded to improve the bridge/tremolo to one that had a more substantial block, changed the plastic nut to a bone nut and changed the string to 11's. I must admit that just these upgrades made a significant improvement on the sound and the sustain seems to last forever. Although I had planned to update the pickups, but for my level of playing, I don't see a need to upgrade them at this time. As far as aesthetics, the finish on the guitar body is impeccable and exactly as what was advertised. The only fault I found was that the neck has a small wood grain knot, that one could feel a small tiny hole if you run a finger over it. Of my 8 guitars this the first time I've found this type of imperfection, so I'm not sure if it's something of concern. I did make some tension adjustments to the neck and so far encounterd no problems, so maybe it will be ok, and I'm hoping it will be because I really like this guitar. Nonetheless, for a $100 guitar, I love it just as much as my other guitars. Also, of the few guitars I have purchased that come with a gig bag, this guitar came with the best gig bag. In fact it's nicer than some of the gig bags that I've purchased for my other guitars, I just wish the bag was sold separately so I can purchase for couple a my other guitars. I feel this is a great guitar and would recommend it as a first or backup guitar.

Good for the price
Had this guitar for a couple years now and it’s a great first electric guitar. The only issues I have are with the provided strings and amp cable. The amp cable gave me issues from the start. It’d only work at certain angles to eventually not working at all. The strings aren’t the best quality either. After upgrading those two things though, this guitar is worth every penny.

Perfect for new players
I'll admit I was skeptical purchasing a guitar in this price range, but it has far exceeded our expectations. This is an excellent choice for a new player. It was for my 11 year old, learning to play for the first time. He loves the looks and feel. It stays in tune well and held up to a first time player. The case is very nice. The strap is thin and cuts into his shoulder. Overall this was an excellent price for what we got. We recently replaced the factory strings and made some minor adjustments. It sounds awesome.

Ashthorpe 39-Inch Electric Guitar - Perfect!!
Review of - Ashthorpe 39-Inch Electric Guitar - 1/13/24 First one arrived with box open and damage. Replacement was quickly sent and arrived perfect today. The finish on the body of this guitar is beautiful. After looking it over, expecting it to be filled with imperfections...I couldn't find one issue with the finish of the body. Body has a heavy gloss finish that makes it look like glass. The volume and 2 tone knobs work as they should and turn smoothly, 5 way tone selector switch works as it should also feels like a good quality switch. Pick-up are nice and bright and produce good sound in all positions...electronics are all great. Pick guard is a pre-wired Strat type plastic guard and comes with a cling type plastic protective sheet over it. Input jack is chrome plated and feels good and snug, not too tight and no buzzing from the jack. Bridge is a tremolo style Bridge and is chrome plated as well. Truss Rod was well adjusted properly, neck is straight. Frets are playable but could use a little more filing on the ends to smooth them down a little more and could use a good crown on them but again, they are very playable as they are. Fretboard, despite being very dry, some food grade mineral oil solved that, is very smooth. Action was a tad high at about 2.5mm, simple adjustment down to 1.5mm and still no fret/string buzzing. Intonation is slightly off, again very playable as is tho but easy fix too. Nut is plastic, works fine but does not fit the end of the Fretboard well...the Nut is almost 1/8" wider than the neck. Some sanding and can get it to match up. The strings are trash...no surprise here tho, most factory strings are junk anyway. Tuners are a bit "gritty", have an 18:1 ratio but seem to hold tune "ok" and come with little blue cling plastic covers on the backs of them. IMPORTANT NOTE: I HIGHLY recommend going over the entire guitar with a screwdriver and wrenches. Check EVERY nut and screw on the guitar. I did find 3 nuts loose on tuners a loose screw on the input jack, loose screw on the pick guard and 2 loose screws on the access cover on the back. Overall thoughts: For the price this is a very playable guitar. After the necessary normal tuning it was playable and sounded good out of the box. If you are a more experienced player you will notice the small things that they cut corners on to reach this price point but don't be fooled, this guitar is shockingly playable for the price. Small things like the rough spot on the neck, the access plate on the back not sitting flush with the body, plastic Nut and "rough" fret wire ends, and few "loose" screws...these are all things you would never find on a higher end guitar but for the price you won't beat this deal. I'd highly recommend if you are a beginner looking for a very playable and affordable guitar to see if you even want to continue after a couple months without spending a lot up front. The plus is that the things that need done that will make this an AWESOME guitar are all very simple to do but take time thus the lower price point (they saved time).

Needed setup out of the box
I ordered two of these guitars. For the price they weren't bad IF you know how to do your own fret level, fret dressing, and set up. Both guitars had fret sprout where the ends of the frets tore into my hands. One guitar had 7 frets that had high spots and needed a neck adjustment and fret level. Both guitars had intonation issues and needed the saddles adjusted. The string height was terribly high to the point that pressing down on any string above the 5th fret caused the note to go extremely sharp. After Straightening out the neck, re-cutting the nut slots, dressing up the fret ends, doing a complete fret level, and adjusting the saddles, both guitars play exceptionally well and would be great for beginners once fixed. I would recommend this guitar for someone who knows how to work on it. I would NOT recommend it for a beginner or parent buying one for their kid unless they plan to take it into a shop and fix the issues. Like I said BOTH guitars had the same issues. If you do, expect at least another 80 bucks minimum to get the issues fixed to make the guitar playable. It does come with a nice gig bag though. :-)

It’s okay for the price.
Honestly I wasn’t expecting much when I saw the box it came it. The box was totally trashed and I was scared to open it. Luckily the guitar wasn’t majorly damaged. My guitar has some cosmetic scratches at the bottom but nothing too off putting. The only thing that gets me is the massive booty hole mark on the front of my guitar. Its a Decent guitar. Plays well, needs to be tuned out of box and holds tone pretty well after the first few plays. Great for a starter guitar. Some minor dents on the back of the neck but nothing to write home about. I haven’t plugged it up to amp yet but will update when I do.
