Quality and value - perfect for two cats
Bought this in preparation for Hurricane Irma here in Florida. Wanted a way to house our two cats in the event we needed to take them to a shelter - I have cat carriers for them, but would not have been able to set them up with food and a litter box. Figured this might even fit in the back of our Ford Escape if we needed to evacuate by car; maybe even use in a hotel room. For the money, this pen is really excellent, bigger than I pictured (nice height), and very easy to set up, break down and store. It pops into shape, so there are no poles to insert, etc. Zippers seem sturdy. There's a small riveted hole on one side which may be for a water bottle, but is perfect for popping treats into the unit. I set it up in the house and the cats went right in to check it out - one even slept in it. I wanted to get them used to it in case we had to leave - as it turns out, we were fortunate, and weathered Irma at home. FYI - the width that you need in the back of your car is actually 41 inches. 45 inches is the widest point. Our car's wheel wells make for a 39.5 inch width, but we figured we could make it work in an emergency. Having my cats' rabies paperwork, collars with county tags, carriers, and this great pen gave me tremendous peace of mind during the hurricane. I think this pen would be fantastic for people who foster kittens. Another plus - I could crawl inside myself!

This is a fantastic unit.
My 2 Yorkies love this kennel. They can see out from any of the 6 sides. I haven't folded it up as yet but will in a couple of weeks when we vacation. It is so convenient and easy to setup/take down.

The best purchase I've ever made for my new kitten!
I bought this playpen for my new kitten and could not be happier with it! It was so easy to assemble, and the perfect size so it was not taking up too much space in my apartment, but big enough so that the kitten could play and run around. I had to keep an eye on her because she was so tiny, so it was great for short periods of time where I couldn't watch her. I also had a large cat already and didn't want him to be too rough with her, so I could use this to separate them at times. She would try to escape but the quality is great, nothing ever ripped or tore even with her clawing at it. She can even jump and climb on top of it (now she's 5lbs) and it doesn't collapse. The top is a mesh material and has not ripped. Both cats also love to be inside the pen and play. I keep the side zippers open now. The kitten is old enough now where I don't need to confine her as much, but my bigger cat absolutely loves laying and sleeping inside of it so I've kept it out! They also play with toys on top of it. So glad I found this item. I also love the subtle jade green color with the tan and black. Highly recommend!

Classy Look but not sturdy enough
Update: The seller reached out to me and offered a full refund after reading my review. I have updated my rating to reflect this. I do think the playpen idea is wonderful, even though the product needs to be sturdier. Maybe it would be a perfect product for a very timid animal? I really liked how "classy" this looked. My dog learned how to open the zippers to escape, which I thought was great, because it kept him busy. But ultimately, the playpen wasn't sturdy enough. I think it worked for one month, at which point I had to buy something else. My dog ripped the area around the zipper on the bottom, which I sewed, and so was able to use a little longer. I like what the playpen offered for my dog's first month, but really, it would have been better to start with something that would last for at least 6 months.

such a useful product!
My 29lb cocker spaniel had to have spine surgery a few weeks ago and has to be crated for the next few months. Instead of a crate, the vet said we can get a playpen, and this is SUCH a good product for that! It has plenty of room but not TOO much at the same time. My husband and I can both fit in the pen with our little guy and comfort him, or he can hang out by himself, and actually get adjusted unlike in his crate. I like that it zips open on top so it is so much easier to maneuver my dog in and out of the pen than in a typical crate, and its easier to clean as well instead of trying to climb inside his crate. We were debating between this or a metal frame and this product won out because of the floor that comes with it. Metal would have been hard to cover without the blankets or pee pads slipping. And it's so easy to wipe down when my dog's paws get all muddy on the bottom. It is a little slippery on the hardwood in our house so beware if you're going to be stepping in and out. It was the best investment we could have made for his post surgery rest. I definitely recommend!!!!

Looks nice and is easy to move around.
We purchased this for a new puppy. We wanted something portable that could be used at home, but that could also be used when traveling. It's an easy set up, and it's lightweight, but appears strong enough to keep our Havanese contained. There was a bit of a learning curve to fold it back up, but once we got it figured out, it was easy. (There are several videos online that advise on folding it. )

Everything is great BUT the zippers suck!
We got this for our special needs cat who enjoys the outdoors but can’t walk on a leash or wear a harness. We got the biggest size (61”), and it’s huge. It seems to be really well made but we’ve only used it a couple times. My biggest complaint (& reason for 3 stars) is the cheap zippers. Why put effort into everything except the zippers? Those are some of the most important pieces and they should be just as good quality as the rest of the product, but they’re not. They’re cheap and when they break, what then? Because it’s going to happen sooner than later, for that reason I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, I’d read more reviews and find one that has quality zippers. Other than that, the netting is nice, our cat likes to claw on the netting but so far it’s withstood his claws. The bottom and top zip on and off for storage, we don’t usually put the top netting part on because our cat can’t jump so there’s no worry of him jumping out. When we used it our cat spilled his water dish and it did take a while to dry, we just don’t want to put it away wet because of where we store it. We are also truck drivers and were concerned about the large size and being able to accommodate it, but it folds flat so it slides right under the bed in the sleeper cab and we don’t see it until we go to grab it. I just wish the zippers were better because if it had good zippers it would be dang near perfect. For reference the cat in my pics is about 17 pounds and he’s tall, he’s a big cat but there’s plenty of room for him to run around and get some exercise.
