Gorgeous design. I was expecting it to be smaller going by some of the reviews I read, but it's not that small at all for what I bought it for (grinding spices), in fact it's a great size... for me anyhow. Easy to hold and use pestle, heavy-weighted mortar, so it stays in place when using it and doesn't move about, easy to clean, stylish modern design, functional art piece. A fab, durable product

This molcajete is heavy, solid, and has the rough texture typical of volcanic stone. It arrived well packaged, with three sturdy legs that keep it stable and a pestle that feels strong and comfortable. The only thing missing is clear instructions, as it should explain that you need to season it before first use (grinding rice to remove stone dust). Overall, it looks rustic, durable, and perfect for guacamole, salsas, or spices. I’ll update once I’ve tested it.

Perfect nicely made

This is by far the most expensive pestle & mortar that I've ever bought, but it's worth every penny in my opinion. 💰✨ With previous ones I've always ended up with a sore wrist & a dent in the middle of my hand where the needlessly long pestle sits, but this one is smooth & short & it's so much nicer to hold. 👍 The mortar is also much broader than most, so you can really spread ingredients across it & achieve fine powdered results, it really is lovely. 🌿 Due to the size & material it's also much heavier than most, but pop it on a lap tray & you're golden. 😊✨

Vijzel had een chip uit de rand en er zat een scheur in die tot ver in kom door liep. Hierdoor is de vijzel echter onbruikbaar en is hij retour gegaan.

Been using it for more than 2 years and works fine.

I've never used this kitchen tool before and I used a dehydrater then used to ground some spices and wild weeds for tea. It is a nice size and my arthritis was not flaring up after grinding all spices and teas.

Nice and large, perfect for my needs.

Don’t get me wrong if budget weren’t an issue I’d probably have a marble and porcelain one of different sizes too.. but if having to buy just one and rush my salt rocks and pepper corns or make other smashed recipes … I love the granite and size of this for the price I paid can’t beat it under $18 it’s an amazing life long culinary kitchen tool. Glad I chose this one
