Nintendo 3DS Game Card Case 6 - Black

I bought this to hold the 3DS and DS games I currently wanted to play. This case does very nicely and fits well in my case from the Nintendo Official Explorer Starter Kit for 3DS by POWER A . Here is a list of positives. * This case is of a sturdy dark tinted plastic. It is easy to see what games are contained in it, yet if this were to be left in sunlight, I don't think the games would fade much. * This case seems hard and sturdy, like it could withstand the wrath of children or being thrown in a backpack. (I had a sibling that was rough on my stuff -- let's just say if we were still children, I would have wanted something like this for my games.) * The case is about as wide as the regular 3DS (not the XL). * This case is attractive. Here are some other attributes to consider. * The hinge for the closure on this is a live hinge. In other words, the piece that holds the case together bends. It does seem sturdy and like it would last for a while, but not sure how long. However, the inside of the case, which also is hinged, is not a live hinge, so that's good at least. This doesn't bother me too much. * The slots for the games are a bit tighter and harder to get the games in there. The games are secure once they're in, but it does take a bit more dexterity and hand strength to get the games in there as opposed to the game slots in the official Nintendo game cases. Also note, that the games are not fully in until they are flat in the slot -- it's hard to tell sometimes. This is not an issue for me, as I'm young and have no problems with my hands or vision, but this could be something important to another buyer. * The case is semitransparent. I'm a game collector, so that means this case must stay in the dark for me to fully be satisfied with no fading. I realize this isn't an issue to most, and it is actually better since one can see the games inside. Overall, for the price I got it from Amazon, I find this case to be outstanding for my purpose. To hold the rest of my games, I use a few Nintendo 3DS Game Card Case 24 . This case is very similar, but holds more four times more games. If you're looking for more serious storage, that case is the one. For just a few games, get this one.

This case is great. Problem is, my game collection grew pretty quickly thanks to all the older DS games I had to pick up for my 3DS XL (not to mention the wave of awesome 3DS games). So soon, I had a little stack of cartridges next to this came case holder which is great. It feels sturdy, holds the games in snug in the plastic tray and is easy enough to pop them out- but not in a bad way. They will not pop out unless you are deliberately pulling them out. I loved Hori case enough to order the bigger one that has 24 slots which isn't that much bigger than this one actually but has the exact same build quality. Because the 24 slot one is already small enough, I will probably but this 6 case one away until I fill up the 24 slot one! Or maybe give it to a friend.

At $5, it's hard to go wrong with this nice little case that will hold 6 3DS cartridges. Inside the case, there are engraved icons in the plastic that show the outline of a 3DS cartridge its little overhanging tab so you know this is really made for 3DS games. I assume it will also hold DS games (I only own 3DS games). If you don't need to hold a bunch of games and want something small and compact, this is a great game holder.

Its an okay case. Being a casual gamer, I don't own very many games so this case was perfect for me. However, when I was removing a cartridge from this case, it ripped the cartridge open. Although I was able to easily snap it back together, it shouldn't be designed to rip your cartridges apart when you try to get them out...

Comes well packaged. Holds DS and 3DS games. Only reason I took off a star is sometimes it's hard for me to get games out. They are in there a little to tight for my taste. Keep it in by bag wherever I go. Works good. Would buy again if I need to carry more games.

This case didn't work for us. It had little plastic tabs that held the games in. These tabs broke off immediately. Sent this one back. Customer service was great.

I bought this case in order to carry more of my original DS chips in my 3DS case, which could only 6 naturally, and this worked perfect! The only flaw it has is that the locking tabs are very delicate, so you will need to be careful when placing your 3DS Chips sometimes. Other than that, it's worth it!!! :D

This is a great little carrying case for my 3ds games. I don't have such a big collection, so this fits my needs rather nicely. I know some have complained that the brackets could possibly damage/break a game cartridge, but for the average adult user, I think there is no need to worry. This case is absolutely perfect for my needs!

It came fast in the mail. The case is nice and is of good quality. I use it to put all my games that I have for the Nintendo 3DS. I recommend it to anyone that wants to carry around few of their favourite games.
