How is Chilean Moss different than New Zealand Moss?

In our personal experience using this product, we've learned that it is more delicate than the Classic New Zealand sphagnum moss. We recommend using it as part of a bioactive setup rather than as a sole substrate for frogs.

What animals can use sphagnum moss?

Sphagnum moss is ideal for use with any tropical animals that require increased humidity in the entire tank or in a humid hide, with the exception of large-mouthed ground feeders like Pac-Man Frogs. Pacs can easily swallow moss and become impacted.

Can it be used with other substrates besides ABG?

Yes! ABG is the most common, but it could be used with any tropical substrate.

How many bags do I need?
