5 stars. Outstanding value for comfort, battery life, and sound quality.
These Soundcore earbuds are hands-down one of the best values I’ve found if you want comfort and quality without overspending. I drive a tractor-trailer and operate heavy equipment in construction, so I need something dependable for hands-free calling, long wear, and clear sound — these deliver. The comfort is exceptional. Once you get the right ear tips fitted, you honestly forget they’re even in. I can wear them for hours without discomfort. Battery life feels endless. They hold a charge incredibly well, which matters when you’re working long days and don’t want to keep stopping to recharge. Sound quality is surprisingly good for the price, and call quality has been solid for me in real-world, noisy work environments. Bottom line: tough, comfortable, reliable, and a great value. I have zero complaints and would absolutely buy them again.

Wonderful long life battery with great sound that I’d recommend to anyone
Wonderful pair of earbuds that actually do cancel noise from the outside world out allowing you to hear just your phone. So if you plan to conversate while talking I suggest only use one bud. Great sound quality and good bass too. No complaints here and they even hold a long charge just without being in the base for them to recharge so you get a good life span off the battery in a single charge. Stays in the ear and won’t go anywhere unless you readjust it. Highly recommend very well worth your money for these

Purchased in 2021, solid earbuds with some issues...
First, please know that I purchased these earbuds in May of 2021. They are now over 4 years old and still working fine for my needs. Here's how I felt using these earbuds roughly 3-4 times a week for hours per occurrence. Pros - Doesn't break the bank but isnt as cheap as those 20 dollar no name ones you can get on Amazon that change their name but remain the same product. - Sound quality is good, not great. Bass is there but not to a point where I was impressed. I would say overall they sounded passable for music. For podcasts, which I listened to mostly with these, is fantastic. Voices are crisp and cut through any background noise. - Noise cancellation, don't really notice it, not sure if it doesn't even have it or I just haven't turned it on. - Battery life was great for the first few years, as of now 4 + years in, a single charge of the carrying case and buds inside will get me about 20 hours of podcasts at a loud volume. Cons - the rubber ear tips. Not the ones that go into your ear canal and cover the speaker, I'm referring to the ones that sit on top of the earbud and assist with keeping the earbud in place. They are an AMAZING addition. I mean, I could play pick up basketball games with these in and they'd be rock solid the entire time. The bad part comes into the picture now, a few years later. They've stretched out to a point they don't function like they should and the buds fall out easily. I went to purchase a replacement and Anker is sold out for the past month. It's a damn shame I'll have to replace a perfectly good part of earbuds because Anker doesn't support their products properly post sale. Tldr: Good earbuds for podcast and some music, company support for replacement parts sucks.

Great 1st impression starting with same day delivery
We placed the order about 5pm and it was delivered about 10pm which we didn't expect. Sweet!! Right out of the box the buds and case were charged and I could have used them right away. One needs a magnifying glass or 20/10 vision to read the instructions for setup. This brand is very similar to another pair I have used so setup was familiar. When making the bluetooth connection the first time you may have to turn off, then on the bluetooth connection on your mobile phone or device. Then the device will pick up the buds connection. The packaging is very good with multiple choices of ear wings and ear tips to fit your ear canal. Take the trouble to try different sizes and combo for each ear. Not all ear canals are born the same even on the same head. Each bud is marked (hard to see) with L and R to designate right and left slot in charging case and which bud goes in which ear. The ear wings are also marked but in my case not very well so swapping out the ear wings I may have the left on the right ear bud and vice versa. I will figure it out wearing them. I use buds just for listening to talk radio and audiobooks so I have nothing to say about quality of sound (bass, tone, treble, etc). The words sound just fine to me. Save the package all together for future reference/needs. UPDATE Feb 2022. I have been using them for more than an hour each day listening to talk radio/audiobooks. Great audio heard. The ear wings make all the difference. They almost make the buds total noise cancellation from street noise around you they seal so well. If someone wants to talk to you while listening to music/talk its best to take one bud out. UPDATE May 2022 I am wearing the buds at least an hour daily for audiobooks. Still works great. Be careful not to mess with the ear wings once they fit best in ear and especially in charger. If they get out of position you can still hear OK its just that when put into charger they aren't positioned to recharge. Look for two white lights as they click in place. Then you know they are charging OK. UPDATE Jun 2022. Bummer. The case stopped charging the buds. I cleaned the buds and inside case but failed to fix problem. Contacted Anker who asked for copy of invoice (thank you Amazon for easy way to get it) and serial nr. of buds which I gave them on 6/6/22. I got 'recycled' buds on 6/9/22. Thank you Anker. They sent a complete box which I needed as the ear wings needed to be replace. Outstanding customer service. UPDATE Oct 2022. I have been using the first pair of buds since I got the 'recycled' pair with the replacement bud charging case. The buds have worked just fine and recharge as well. I wear them for at least an hour a day and eventually the rubber ear wings that hold them in your ear lose their 'umph'. You get spares but not all the same size that works best for your ear canal. So one bud fits better in one ear than the other. Small disappointment.

Ease of use and comfort as well as battery life
So far I gotta give these 5 stars the sound is amazing and they do not fall out like airpods which is exactly how I would end up loosing them. I like how you can adjust the equalizer on the soundcore app to your liking, the wireless charging for the case is an amazing feature on budget ear buds. It was very easy to set up and pick the correct wing size for better comfort. The design of these is amazing at first I found them to be a bit bulky but you end up getting used to it. Amazing now I gotta see if they last tho but so far they’re syncing perfectly.

Keep looking
I have purchased these earbuds twice now. I purchased these because I have trouble finding buds that will not fall out of my ear while working Out or running. At first, I really enjoyed these buds. The sound quality was exceptional, the fit/ comfort was tolerable, and the battery life was very good. The first pair I got, the right bud just stopped working out of the blue after about a year of daily use. Seeing that they weren't too expensive, I took it with a grain of salt and just ordered another pair. I purchased that pair spring of 2025, and they just got retired Jan 2026. With this second pair, the silicone sleeve that goes around the bud to keep it in your ear got warn down very fast and kept slipping out of place, making it fall out of my ear constantly. The sound quality of this pair got bad much faster as well. Along with trouble with the charging case. It didnt seem to hold a charge for as long as my first pair did. At times I would put them in the case expecting that they are charging and when I went to use them, they were still low battery. Im assuming it was because that silicone sleeve had slid out of place and was making the connectors not line up properly. Even with all the trouble I have had with these buds, I still love soundcore and the amazin products that they make. I have been a long time customer of them and I dont plan on turning my back just because these buds didnt fit my needs. If you are looking for great buds, soundcore makes them, just not necessarily these ones.

Excellent and priced right!
If I could give this set of EarPods ten stars, I would. Outstanding sound. Immediate connectivity., which makes this set easy to use. Compatibility is awesome. The longer case is much easier to put in my pocket and does not reflect upon my appearance poorly. A+

Ear wings start to fall off over time (one month mark)
First I will say, for the price I think Soundcore/Anker has some of the best sounding wireless earbuds on the market rivaling the sound of products costing 2-3 times the amount. In that, the Life A1 did not disappoint. Five star sound! The "Soundcore Signature" equalizer is set so well music sounds great, but what I came to appreciate more than I thought I would is the ability, at three clicks of the button, to switch to "Acoustic". I could hear the podcast better! The Life A1 had done a adequate job as a headset to take calls on my phone and web conferencing apps. Battery life has been 95% as good as advertised so no complaints. No issues with water resistance. Not advertised to do so, but I have showered with the earbuds in (making sure to avoid direct shower stream impact of water) and been fine. Here are the areas that Life A1 has fallen short. Previously I owned Soundcore Life Dot 2, but I dropped one as my son was backing his car out and crushed it. Thank goodness I bought the insurance! I bring this up because I am comparing what I really like about Life Dot 2 vs Life A1. The Life Dot 2 Airwings were the most comfortable fitting ear buds I have ever owned. The full curve of the wing in the ear kept the earbud secure and comfortable at that same time. The Life A1 also has a modified ear wing (see pic), but it my opinion it is not as comfortable. Don't get me wrong they are still comfortable, but the Life Dot 2 I could wear for hours and never have my ears hurt. I have fallen asleep with the Life Dot 2 buds in and awoke in the morning with no discomfort in my ears. With the Life A1 when I woke up in the morning my ears would be slightly irritated. Nothing horrible, but not as nice as Life Dot 2. Which leads me the topic of my review. I have owned the Life A1 for two months. I have found the ear wings start to come off of the ear bud body. It didn't happen the first month, but by the middle of the second month, almost every time I remove the earbud from my ear the wing unseats itself or comes off entirely. If I don't pay attention the rubber slides down over the charging contact points and prohibits the buds from charging in the case. I don't like having to readjust the wing every time I remove it from my ear. Once it is in my ear it seats fine. I use this for jogging through out the week. I have never once had them fall out even when I was putting on winter hats to cover my ears during cold weather jogging. As a side note, I insert and remove my earbuds 2-4 times a day so at the end of my first month I removed them 60-120 times The push button controls for the Life A1 do not make intuitive sense. There is no way to go back a song! You can only pause/play or advance to the next song. Even the control to advance to the next song is strange; double click on the LEFT ear. Maybe I am American(English) conditioned to read left to right, but intuitively most ear buds us the right earbud to advance, not the left. Poor choice of navigation. Though I still enjoy my Life A1, if I was to go back two months I would have purchased the Life Dot 2 again instead of the Life A1.

1 year review - worth reading!
So it’s taken me a while to write this review (despite the numerous prompts from Amazon) and this is mainly because I’ve gone through so many wireless headphones I really wanted to be SURE before writing this review . So here goes… Reason for purchase: Gym, and mainly running on the thread mill. Value for money: Good - considering build quality and lack of issues (to be specific I’ve had NONE thus far) , overall sound quality and reason for purchase - I’d say this was a sound investment, and cost effective. Durability: Really good. In your ears they’re light enough not to cause a nuisance, but heavy enough to know that if one (did) fall out your ear, you’d know about it. Battery life: I’m usually at the gym for about 1.5 hours, I think my longest run at the gym was 2hrs before I got the first prompt of “battery low”. (And that’s at playing music at a relatively high volume (I’d say typically at 85-90%) Some people may think 1.5-2hrs is not enough, but I only purchased these for gym use and not for phone calls, or long journeys outside; so as a result, it IS fit for purpose, and does me just fine. I usually keep them in the car and charge when not in use. I believe they auto switch off once fully charged. So far these wireless headphones have been durable, work all the time (I’ve had no issues with one side working and the other not), the case they charge in is fine - (be sure to see both charging lights light up before tucking away) and leaving to charge. The size adaptors fitted perfectly, I think they offer a couple of extra sizes in there if needed but I used the ones that were fitted on upon box opening and I’ve not felt the need to change them. Noise cancelling: I’m happy with the lack of outside noise, in fact I’d say I don’t notice any noise at all when at the gym and have them on. I’m often surprised when taking them out to talk to a (gym bro) about how loud the gym actually is, you literally zone out and only hear what you’re playing. Charging case: durable, does what it needs to do. Unfortunately there’s no written LED indicator determining what percentage of charge each earbud has, but there are a few LED lights on the charger that light up in 25% increments so you can have a good gage as to how much power is in them (both). Phone calls: I’ve only had a few phone calls and to be honest I had no issues, they were of course short (as I was at the gym) but the call was clear and the caller could hear me just fine. Button control: I know some of the fancier ones have touch controls which require a swipe or light tap to perform certain functions such as raising volume or answering calls. In truth I’ve owned a few like that and they are a nightmare (imo), they often skip unannounced, or are an even worse nightmare if you’re wearing a hood or cap, both of which can trigger a function command. I’ve also noted that sweat can also often affect touch control earbuds too - which has been extremely annoying when running. I say all of that to say this - with these the function changes require an actual click and physical push of the buttons on the earbuds, which I welcome as every action is therefore intentional and keeps things rudimentary but also simple - thereby allowing me to continue with my workout without the constant need rewind a track that has skipped inadvertently or having to re-raise the volume as it started reducing for no apparent reason. Obviously all controls can also be done directly via your phone as well. All in all - for the price paid, these are a worthwhile and sturdy investment. I don’t need the headphones to make or receive calls, but if necessary they have worked fine for short calls (which to all intense and purpose have taken place in a busy and noisy gym) Summary: Functional, fit for purpose for serious gym goers’ who don’t have time to keep stopping and starting because of fiddly touch earbuds. When having to work a 9-5 and fit gym sessions in the evening, then having to go back to your family, you learn quickly that EVERY MINUTE counts! AND YES - I’m sure there are higher priced “branded” earbuds which could provide the same “pro’s” however they likely will cost 3-4x more than these, and I’m guessing the reason we’re all on Amazon is bc we are trying to find good value for money without having to go “top-end”, and it is for this reason I have taken the time to wait and comprehensively USE the item before writing this review. Hope it works for you as it has for me! Happy shopping!

Buen sonido. No cancela el ruido. Toques de más en los botones físicos. No quedan mal.
Gracias.

Amazing Earbuds
I’ve had these headphones for over 6 months now and they still perform as if they were brand new. The battery life on these are insane! I use these nearly everyday, and I only need to charge the case overnight about once every two weeks. They offer a huge amount of bass and volume, they fit in my ears perfectly, and they never fall out of my ears or get loose with the standard fit. There is no active noise cancellation, but that isn’t expected for earbuds at this price. The seal does a good enough job for me. My only small complaint for these headphones are the sound profiles. You can triple-click an earbud to change it’s sound profile, but there is no indicator to know which profile you switch to. Other than that, these are hands down the best wireless earbuds at this price. Great job Anker!! Edit - Almost 1 year later (about 11 months) the left earbud completely died out of nowhere. I was listening to music when I noticed the left earbud lost volume completely. I thought it may have died so I charged it, didn’t work. I tried resetting the earbuds based on the manual, also didn’t work. Then I found on youtube that the left earbud suddenly not working is a common issue in Anker’s Soundcore earbud lineup. I hope to get this fixed through customer support! Edit #2: Anker sent me another pair in about a week free of charge, since these earbuds have an 18 month warranty. The new earbuds work perfectly. Amazing customer support thank you Anker :)
