These are amazing speakers. I’ve been upgrading every one of my car’s speakers since I started driving. I’ve typically always used Infinity speakers but decided to try another brand on my new 2023 Ford Edge. I was impressed with what I heard. These speakers sound amazing and look great as well. Build quality is nice and they install super easy. I paired these with some NVX silicone speaker baffles and some sound deadening mat. Super happy. Useful tip for upgrading your tweeters in the stock location. These didn’t really fit in the stock door trim location. I’ve seen installers use hot glue or universal back straps. Some have 3d printed custom parts to make it work. I used what I had which was adhesive Velcro strips. A bit on the circumference of the tweeter and the other part inside the circumference of the stock housing and it sits perfectly in place with no rattling. Easy to remove if needed.

I purchased Pioneer speakers from Amazon and had them professionally installed. During installation, it was found that one crossover and one tweeter were not working right out of the box. The installer confirmed the wiring and installation were correct, so the issue was clearly with the product itself. Because of this, I lost money on installation and ended up with a partially non-functional system. This was very disappointing, especially from a well-known brand like Pioneer. Quality control needs improvement. I would recommend checking all components before installation or buying locally to avoid extra costs if the product turns out to be defective.
