A lifesaver. Literally.
This little machine has finally motivated me off my ass and into exercise! Short version: Buy it and don't give up! You won't regret it. It's sturdy and does the job. Long version: I am a 54 year old fat, sedentary gamer with a congenital heart defect. My blood sugar and blood pressure were so high at my last doctor's visit, that I had to make some drastic changes. Along with a better diet (no salt or sugar, much less potatoes and bread), I knew I would have to start exercising. I bought this stair stepper mostly because it seemed sturdy, was rated for more than my weight, and was in my price range. The first week or so, it felt impossible. Like others have said, the tension is set high, and there is no way to adjust it. Don't panic! It gets better. At first, I could only do two minutes at a time, then five mins. Now, one month later, I just finished a 35 minute session! The tension loosened up a bit, and I got better, too. Here is what helped me. I parked it next to our TV and put together a Youtube exercise playlist. I chose songs with good rhythms and fun videos to keep me motivated (tip: Paula Abdul's "Straight up" is still excellent!). It is MUCH easier to step to dance music than to plod through while watching a movie. For better cardio, you'll want to take shorter steps. Again, this is where the music comes in handy to keep you on rhythm. Shorter steps have lighter tension, too. Since I've been able to do longer workouts, I've noticed my weight coming off easier. I've been losing about a pound every 3-4 days. The best part is that I was able to lower my blood pressure from 170/95 to 138/88. It's not perfect, but it's a drastic improvement, and I didn't have to go on meds. The machine gets about an hour of use each day, and so far it works beautifully and hasn't developed any loud noises. If you are looking for a reliable exercise machine that won't take up much space and doesn't cost a ton of money, this one is an excellent choice!

Great Purchase!
This is an excellent stair stepper. It's compact and easy to move. The machine works with foot pedals on top of pneumatic pistons instead of a wire, like others I've had; and the wires tend to snap as they are not really strong. This is much more well-built and substantial. The only downside is that you can't adjust the resistance, but the default resistance on this is pretty tight, so you get a good solid workout without it being too hard to move the pedals. So overall a good piece of equipment. Now a word about Sportsroyals, the company who sells this. Their Customer Service is EXCELLENT!! Here's what happened. I ordered the stair stepper and long story short, Fedex lost the package. I contacted both Fedex and Sportsroyals, and they sent me a new one within less than a week!! The folks at Sportsroyals were respectful, polite, and responded very quickly to my request. So I totally recommend buying from this company, as well as the stair stepper itself. This is a NON-INCENTIVEZED review.

Small and effective
This thing is great. It really does take up barely any room. I live in a pretty small house so having something that doesn't eat land space is welcome. I actually set mine up in front of a window so I could look outside while I exercised. Thats kinda a nice bonus. You can put it almost anywhere you want. The setup wasn't difficult. I probably had it up and running in 10 minutes. Its stable too. Doesn't jerk or jutter around. The only note I have is sometimes the hand grips get a little loose after a while but you can just reach down and hand tighten it. That's why its 4/5 stars. Otherwise, full 5 stars. Maybe you can tighten it better than I did and it will be perfect! It only has two buttons. Mode and reset. Which lets you cycle through what you want to measure. Time, Distance, Steps, calories, and calories burned. So whatever your goal is, this makes it easier to track. I'd say for an entry level machine, this is definitely worth the money. Especially if you don't have much space to work with.

Good quality, tough workout! I like it!
Itโs well made, not adjustable which I didnโt notice. Itโs a bit tough for a small woman but I kept at it. Quite like it, legs much stronger now. I would not recommend if you have knee problems.

itโs solid and feels like good quality
Not at all bad for the money. Itโs heavy enough surprisingly good quality. I literally use the resistance bands to work back arms and triceps as well I was very skeptical because I used to work out in the gym all the time and didnโt think Iโd be able to find something inexpensive and small but this works really nicely. Itโs quiet it will get you a nice burn in your legs and gluts. I have it in my living room in front of the TV burning calories while Iโm watching Stranger Things. I recommend getting this. Itโs inexpensive but solid and a good quality, itโs small and super easy to tuck away in a closet or under the bed. I have been on mine like three times today. Itโs actually kind of fun

Impressive little machine
I bought this with moderate expectations. I wanted something to get some extra daily steps and provide some resistance. This really is so much better than I thought it would be. Although not adjustable, there is plenty of resistance when stepping, depending how deep your steps are. It gives me some cardio increase, nothing dramatic but a nice boost. It is a solid machine, well built and heavy. It will make a faint noise in the hydraulic cylinders when it gets warm, usually around 15-20 minutes of use. I don't find it concerning. As with all exercise equipment, it only works if you use it. But I am loving this and I would recommend it.

It broke. Donโt bother
Itโs very compact which is nice cause I can store it in my closet when not using it and requires no assembly. It also appears to be a good workout as I can feel the muscles in my legs and back when using it. However, after only about 5 or 6 sessions, Iโve noticed the right side squeaks and groans, which it didnโt do at first. Thereโs also grease all over the bottom bars, something I noticed taking it out of the box. So, while it is a cheap exercise equipment, you do get what you pay for and I am hesitant to see how long it will actually last me. Others have said they use cooking oil to fix the squeaking and only 20 minutes sessions at a time, but that sounds inconvenient and messy. The squeaking was replaced with a kind of whooshing noise that was somehow even more annoying. And after four months, the metal arms under the pedals snapped, so now I canโt even use it. Waste of money

In a word: Adequate.
Disclaimer: I'm not an athlete or a runner or anything, I don't go to the gym or go crazy on my cardio, so I don't have much frame of reference on how good any elliptical can be. I got this one because I needed a way to get my steps in during a long break from work, and this one is small and cheap. I've been using it almost daily for about a month and a half, and I try to get in about an hour on it each day. Also, I didn't bother with the resistance bands that came with it. First, the downsides: -The caps on the feet keep coming off while I'm using it. It doesn't seem to pose any danger, but when one comes off, the whole machine wobbles a little. It's irritating and frequent enough that I'm considering taking a hot glue gun to it and fixing it permanently. -If you use it regularly like I do, after a couple weeks or so it will start to squeak and creak like a wounded animal with every step. There are quite a few moving parts and hinges on this thing, and it's often hard to diagnose which one is screaming because mine only does this when there is some weight on it. The only reliable fix I've found is applying cooking spray liberally to each hinge until it stops. Then enjoy the relative quiet for a week or two until it starts squeaking again. It's a frequent and irritating issue, and the solution is tedious and messy. Easily the worst thing about it. -The pedals aren't super comfortable. I started wearing house shoes while I'm on it, which makes it a non-issue for me, but worth noting. All that said, the upsides: -It's cheap. -It's small, fits under my coffee table. -It came fully assembled and ready to use. -It works. I don't know how accurate the calorie tracking is, so keep that in mind if that's important to you. But I like that it keeps track of my steps and time until I reset it, and I like seeing my steps per minute as I'm going. And you can adjust the resistance fairly easily if you want to. Overall, I don't think I'd necessarily recommend this to add to your home gym if you're serious about fitness (and you shouldn't be listening to my opinions on that anyway!). But if you're like me and just trying to get in some steps and you're short on space and/or cash, this isn't a bad buy.

Buon prodotto
Soddisfatto dello stepper!
