My door is common, 1 3/4 inches thick, 2 3/8 inch backset, 1 inch round role and the existing lockset used a square spindle. This latch assembly is for a square spindle. That's important. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. There were some minor differences with this lockset compared to the lockset it was replacing. My "Wright" lockset requires close to a quarter turn to open the door. This lockset only requires 1/8th turn. The "Wright" lockset had a stiffer spring. This lockset turns with less force. I think this one is easier to operate and I prefer the feel. I can't review durability or reliability and I don't have any other locksets to compare it to but for now 5 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Door lock *by S***N on March 3, 2025* It was a slight bigger but that was easy to fix it to fit.
