What steel is this knife made with and is there a version without the sawback?

Blade: Spring steel HRC ~ 55, electrophoretic coating. Without sawback on the blade is model FM 78. With sawback on the blade is model FM 81.

What is the blade angle?

I'm thinking more likely 25 degrees, and that is what I sharpened it to. It is not the hardest steel, but made TOUGH (to not break) for hard tasks. A higher angle is best for rough tasks and not-so-hard steel.
