Easy, fast, ready to use LG remote just add batteries!!!
These LG smart TV remotes offer exceptional value. They are ergonomically designed for comfortable and intuitive operation. No initial setup is required; simply insert batteries for immediate use. The connection process is seamless, and button response times are consistently rapid. There is no need for complex programming or code entry, as these remotes function directly out of the packaging. They serve as an excellent and cost-effective alternative. I highly endorse these remotes, having purchased over ten units myself. While the original remotes I acquired did exhibit a slight decrease in response time after approximately two years of use, this is attributable to extensive wear and tear, including frequent drops and misuse by children, which is not uncommon given the duration and circumstances of their use.

No Fancy Bells or WhistlesโJust a Remote That Works Exactly Like It Should
When you need a replacement remote, sometimes simple is exactly what you wantโand thatโs what these deliver. Shipping was fast, and both remotes arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy they were to set up. The included instructions were clear, well-written, and had both remotes programmed and controlling my LG TV in just a matter of minutes. These arenโt loaded with unnecessary gimmicks, and thatโs actually what I like most about them. If youโre looking for a straightforward, no-frills remote that simply turns on your TV, navigates menus, adjusts the volume, and does everything youโd expect without any headaches, this is an excellent choice. The buttons have a good feel, the layout is familiar, and both remotes responded reliably during use. Itโs the kind of product you donโt think much about after setupโand thatโs a compliment because it just works. If you want an affordable, dependable replacement that gets the job done without the fuss, I wouldnโt hesitate to recommend this set. Iโd gladly purchase them again if the need ever arose.

Instructions may require old remote
Step one is to unpair your old remote. It has a disclaimer at the bottom that says please follow step one before trying to pair your remote even if its lost or broken. Which is probable if you're buying a replacement remote. I also dont have my tv connected to wifi which is required for using the vizio app on your phone which can act as a backup remote. On top of that I don't know of many tvs that come with buttons anymore. Im not sure why that has become the industry standard these days. So I thought i was out of luck and decided to put some batteries in it and take a shot in the dark. I turned my tv on using the singular button it has. To pair the remote you press the microphone and mute button at the same time. And to my surprise it muted. After not following a single instruction. So I'm glad it works but I'm very annoyed that the instructions specify you absolutely cannot skip unpairing your old remote which I imagine the majority won't have. If you're like me and don't have your tv connected to wifi (every device connected to it has that capability so its a needless use of broadband and its another device collecting and probably selling your internet data so I'm very much against it) you may conclude that your tv will never be fully functional again. But for mine it was just plug and play. I didnt even press the correct 2 buttons for pairing it. I pressed mute and volume down instead of the microphone and bam it muted. Im not sure it will work this way on all vizio smart tvs but for mine the instructions were completely unnessecary. Which is actually a huge relief. Other than that it does what its supposed to. Buttons are responsive, the remote looks great, same quality as the original. I cant comment on the voice search functionality as I don't use it, but other than the massive let down after being led to believe I needed the old remote which fell into the backrooms, its just as good as the original.

A Reliable, No-Fuss Backup for LG Owners
If you own an LG Smart TV, you know that the remote is the one item in the house that is most likely to go missing or suffer a fatal drop. This two-pack of universal replacement remotes offers a cost-effective solution for those who need to replace a broken "Magic Remote" or simply want a spare for the other side of the couch. Design and Build Quality Form Factor: The remotes feature a slim, ergonomic design that feels familiar to anyone who has used an LG TV in the last several years. While they are lighter than the original factory remotes, the plastic casing is durable enough to withstand daily use. Button Layout: The layout is intuitive, featuring dedicated hotkeys for popular streaming services like Netflix and Prime Video. The buttons have a satisfying tactile "click" and are made of a soft silicone that is easy on the thumbs. Convenience: Coming in a pack of two is the major selling point here. It allows you to keep one in the living room and one in the bedroom, or simply keep a "backup for the backup" in a drawer. Setup and Compatibility Plug-and-Play: One of the best features of these replacements is that they require zero programming for the vast majority of LG Smart TV models (LCD, LED, and OLED). Once you insert two AA batteries (not included), the remote typically works instantly with the TV. Range: The infrared (IR) signal is strong, working from up to 30 feet away. You donโt need to be perfectly "line-of-sight" for the TV to register the commands, which is a common flaw in cheaper third-party remotes. Performance Responsiveness: There is no noticeable lag between pressing a button and the TV responding. Navigating through the LG WebOS interface is snappy, and the volume/channel rockers are responsive. The "Magic" Trade-off: These are standard IR remotes. They do not feature the "Magic Mouse" pointer functionality or voice control found on high-end LG factory remotes. However, for 90% of navigation and viewing tasks, these buttons do the job perfectly. Pros and Cons Pros: Excellent Value: You get two remotes for less than half the price of one OEM LG remote. Zero Setup: No frustrating codes to enter; works right out of the box. Wide Compatibility: Works with almost all LG Smart TVs from the last decade. Clear Labeling: Buttons are easy to read and logically placed. Cons: No Voice Control: Does not support LGโs voice search features. No On-Screen Pointer: You must use the directional pad to navigate menus rather than the "air mouse" pointer. Batteries Not Included: Requires 2 AA batteries per remote. Final Verdict The Universal LG Smart TV Remote Replacement 2-Pack is a "must-buy" for households that frequently lose remotes or for those who find the original LG Magic Remote too over-engineered. While you lose the pointer and voice functionality, you gain reliability, ease of use, and the peace of mind that comes with having a spare remote ready to go.

Okay but not like the original remote.
They both have something loose rattling around inside from the start. The Disney and lg channels buttons donโt work with my newer lg tv. First remote quit working after a couple months. Connection is great though. You donโt have to do anything but put batteries and start using it. Fit in my original remotes cover.

Works with UB6500 fantastic
Although it does not say it does work with the UB 6500 projector. I was looking for a remote to replace the original one and this one works fantastic

Connected instantly!
Practically did not even need to set up. Popped in some batteries, and it was ready to go. I can finally mount my projector and still be able to control it from afar.
