Like all of their products, this line is very, very nice. Strong, smooth casting, and durable. I have one that was spooled 4 years ago and I still use it, since it doesn't show any weaknesses yet (I tested it by catching some big carps and it was just as strong as on the day I bought it). It will show slight discoloration after some time. But not too much and it doesn't affect anything. I have four of these stored, just cannot justify replacing the old ones, since they still perform very strongly. Highly recommended. Color does wear away but not as quick as Seaguar (Seaguar is a great product line) J8 is the go to line for me at this point.
