She says it's very bright, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't give you the flawless effect when beauty bloggers use it. It's grainy when you use this product by itself - say, in a nightclub or something. You're better off just using the flash from your phones. It reflects well with another light source, though. Our bathroom is probably the only room that has good lighting in the house and that's with the lights above the sink. She used this with the bathroom light source and it looks alright. It highlights her face more and not make it look dull. Compared to if she was just taking selfies alone without the ring light - her face looks dull.Overall, I think you would need to use this product with another light source to get the effect that you want. I love this light because it surrounds the camera which in turn produces great pictures even in pitch black. The light has 3 settings and they're all super bright.
