How do you turn off the alarms. I only need to use alarms 1-5, is there a way to disable the other 3 alarms from going off.

You can’t turn them off but by not setting them for a time they will not alarm. I only used 4 alarms & simply didn’t set the others.

Is there a specific button to turn it off?

The center button will stop the alarm from beeping.

Can this be retuned if the alarm isn’t loud enough for my husband?

You should be able to return through amazon for any reason.

How do I set the alarm to 00:00 as I’ve created a fifth alarm in error?

You should be @ble to set the alarm at 00:00, but if it won’t try setting it for 00:01.

BAD PRODUCT

Hi Amazon, The product was defective and the LCD screen did not function properly after 3 days of use. Please see the attached picture. The LCD should read 10.22 The buttons when depressed get stuck, and stay depressed. This product should be removed from the shelf. Regards Tan Beng Cheng

good product / overall= suggest = yes

works= we had need of 5 pill alarms and this one has 8 of them. Follow directions and be sure to press mode button after setting up (bit fussy to set up but works ) Has worked great for use. Only con : the function to press any button and shut off alarm don't work out the box (on this unit). We are fine with that. At least the price is good and it has the number of alarms we needed. So far this has been a good pill alarm.....Suggest getting one= YES....
