In fact, it's less exposed and smaller than the TWO blades of a nail clipper. It reminds me of the rotary blade on a can opener -- sharp enough to cut metal cans but unable to weaponize. In fact, the blade is so small that I doubt that the TSA agent would see it if you don't point it out. In reality, your keys and pen could do much more bodily harm than this gadget and its blade.So logically, it shouldn't violate any TSA policies and if you don't point the blade out, they probably wouldn't notice it.
