These are just so yummy! The canister may look small but it has lasted us awhile. It shipped promptly and I would certainly want to reorder from the same store when I run out!

I think it's misleading to say this comes in a reusable jar. It's a plastic container. Pretty sure you should not reuse it. It's not some high quality reusable plastic. Should probably recycle it instead since it's got 1 rating for recycling. I have had 6 different cacao nibs from amazon and I can not taste a difference months apart. These were not bad or good they were just normal. Where this brand of nibs stood out for me was the near complete lack of stems. I am not sure if I just got a lucky plastic container without stems or what. I usually measure out about 20g of nibs and then pick through them to find stems, shells, and anything else I don't want to try to digest or crack my teeth on. The average amount of stems I get is 6 from the other brands. This brand averaged 1 stem every 20g. That was true from beginning to end. So that's pretty good. But I found many bits of thin shells. Some of the other brands had few if any shell bits. However the shells are very thin and would pose no threat to my teeth. I am sure I didn't find them all, and I am still alive with no cracked teeth so there is that. Only 2 pieces out of the entire contents of the plastic container were 'bad.' 1 piece was hard as a rock. Heck it may have been rock. There other was a really chewy piece that was like old gum. So, while I have no way of knowing if any children helped make this product (most likely they did) and I have no idea how much of any pesticides, hormones, steroids, or genetic modifications were used, I do know it was the best nibs I have had as far as stems are concerned. Also, at the time, they were reasonably priced at $33 for 4 lbs.

I like to mix a little bit of this in chocolate deserts to give it that touch of dark chocolate pop.

I am using this to make a chocolate extract, using vodka and cocoa nibs. It takes about six months for the extraction on the shelf. We also snack on these nibs they are delicious and provide a great source of fiber and flavonoids

I roast this for Cacao brew. This product has a great flavor and the strongest flavor of all that I have tried. (Cacao brew is naturally a mild drink). The price is the best I have found also.
