How well does the adhesive work?

I screwed it into the wall and used the adhesive to make it flush. It sticks out just a tad on the bottom if it’s screwed in tight. If you have textured walls at all the adhesive won’t be enough. Smooth walls maybe but I wouldn’t trust it. It’s great screwed in tho!

I am planning on sticking this to the side of my wood nightstand for remotes; is rhe adhesive easy to remove or will it mess my wood up?

We havent tried to remove ours - we dont want it going anywhere. If i were you I would go to the store and buy the adhesive Command Strip brand

Says in descriptions it charges by plugging underneath. So why do people say it doesnt, what gives?

There is a slot on the bottom to your cord can go they to charge your device. Only a slot!
