Does continuous autofocus still work with the adapter?

I could be doing something wrong however. Auto focus works using same setting when on my Panasonic 24-70 but when I attach adapter to the Ed lens it no longer works. On bhphoto they claim it does.

why are the l mount things so expense? emount and rf adapters are so much cheaper?
