Using Quilting Templates Sewing Machine Domestic Free Motion Quilting Templates Rulers Transparent for A Simple Meander and A Great Secondary Quilting Design

i previously bought the cheapest one and had to baby it along. this one must have been engineered by a real quilter.Started using it right away and appreciate the sturdiness. So much easier to use!

Over the summer I ordered the round quilting foot that included several templates. Months later, I received the foot, no templates. I finally gave up trying to get them . Then I ordered some templates, and they are extremely tricky to use, especially if one has never done traditional machine quilting. I saw this product demonstrated on You Tube and it made complete sense as far as design and ease of use. My advice, go for it!

Though it did take a little practice to get used to maneuvering this template, it has become my go-to one for stippling charity quilts. I do wish it was larger, had a non-slip backing, and was marked with reference lines.

Template is very well made. Thick plastic. The cut out part of the template does tend to pop up a bit and broke needle on the first try. Need to hold the smaller sections when going around the smaller curves. Will take some practice to use but overall I like the template and the design you create with it.

Good quality, but it was too thick for my foot. Not the part that you sew through, and my foot had plenty of clearance to put the ruler under it. It was the the shank that holds your foot that interferes. It never occurred to me this could be a problem.

I love how easy this is to use

This did not work for me at all! You have to be very careful because if it slips a little bit, your needle is gonna hit the the plastic and then bend the needle and could actually harm your sewing machine. I’ve been sewing for years and years and years and this is what I get for trying to take a shortcut. The only way I could see this thing being useful is if you drew out the lines on your fabric using the template and then went back over them.

I am so glad I got this. It gives me the required spacing between stitches. Took me a while to get the hang of the twist and turns. I just had to slow down my machine.
