Great pressing quality and sound! Way better than most vinyl records under $20!

The record sounds good, of course, the album itself is pretty raw and noisy compared to later Brand New releases, but that's generally what we like about it. It's the same angsty anthemic album it always was, but now its got a fancy vinyl pressing, sound great, and embossed lettering on the cover. If you're a fan of the album, I do recommend this release. The texture of the gate-fold case and the inserts (of which I believe there is just 1 insert) are of the "Not-Glossy" variety, that may come off as a little cheap, but it looks nice and has a vibe with the embossed lettering of the album title.

Picking which Brand New album I wanted to purchase first was a hard choice, and I probably would've picked Deja Entendu if I could've found it, but then again you can never go wrong with Your Favorite Weapon. I put this record on whenever I'm getting ready or having a shitty day. It's the best. And not to mention sounds absolutely mind blowing on record. I think everyone should have a copy of this on vinyl for those especially hard times.

and it took me awhile to like that album. but when i finally did, i loved it, so i decided to explore brand new's old album, "your favorite weapon". the only song that was remotely close to their sophmore album was "soco amaretto lime". everything else sounds very immature compared to what i heard in deja. but that was what i LOVED about it! i'm a big fan of taking back sunday, matchbook romance (first album), green day, blink 182 and stuff like that. "your favorite weapon" basically combined the best stuff of all of them. it's upbeat, angry lyrics that sport a young attitude, yet are skillfully crafted so the angst and fun of it comes out. the hooks are totally catchy. but the best thing i liked about this album was the way it made me feel. i'm 22 and i'm listening to this the first time and it made me feel young and reckless again (in a good way !)

I love this album so much. The packaging isn't anything amazing, nor is the pressing a crazy color, but I have listened to the songs on here literally hundreds, if not thousands of times, on iPods, CDs, and so on. I'm not sure if its typically bundled, but the extras included on this album were worth the cost alone. Listening to the demo tracks, thinking about all the changes they went through, was a really neat experience for me. I heartily recommend adding this vinyl to your collection.

I love Brand New so much. Your Favorite Weapon is one of the best albums I've heard and it sounds absolutely beautiful in vinyl. I love it so much. I was iffy about getting off amazon cause of the reviews but I'm glad i did. It sounds wonderful and it came earlier than expected!

Surprisingly this album plays with a huge gauge in in from the factory (or at least that's what I presume as the packaging looked fine).

Arrived quickly and was exactly as expected.

Je reste profondément attaché au début de Brand New, cette album est plein de fougue, de colère adolescente qui se traduit par un son plus punk. Mais on retrouve toujours les fondements de Brand New à savoir les paroles travailler et les sentiments à vif. Pour ce qui est de la réédition, je ne pence pas qu'elle apporte grand choses, je n'es jamais compris l’intérêt à écouter des démos. Mais vue de l' éditions original de Your Favorite Weapon est dure à trouver et que sont prix peut vite monté cette édition peu être une solution de rapidité de plus le packaging est sympa.

Arrivato in tempo e tenuto bene, il vinile è nero. Un must per i fan dei Brand New, lo starter che ha avviato ciò che è il gruppo adesso, in una reissue che segue la linea estetica attuale.

Brand New sind mittlerweile viel mehr als ein Geheimtipp und zeigen mit jedem neuen Album, in welche Richtung sie gehen wollen. Der Schritt von "Your Favorite Weapon" zu "Deja Entendu" ist dabei besonders groß geraten, zeigt aber gleichzeitig, in welcher Liga Jesse Lacey heute spielt. Your Favorite Weapon ist eines der besten Punk/Punk-Pop/-Rock-Alben, die die Menschheit je hervorgebracht hat. Die Titel sind durchgehend über Niveau, mit aussagekräftigen Texten (Teenager-Leben, Beziehungen, Brüche etc.) und klasse Melodien. Wer dieses Album nicht mag, gehört zum Arzt. Wer's nicht kennt, hat das Leben (bisher) verpasst. KAUFEN!!
