Permanent restoration for plastic most times involves either clear coating it or new parts. Honestly the cheapest way to detail the plastic external parts of a vehicle without breaking the bank. **Q: will this restore the worn, oxidized black plastic spoiler on a Prius?Is it cover-up or real restoration?** A: When it rains, the black plastic on my 2005 element gets white streaks and lightens to almost grey. I left a little section untreated so I could monitor how quickly it faded. It's clearly still looking far better than it originally did. This is on my sun faded Jeep Wrangler plastics. Also did a bit of the steering wheel plastics inside the car. Plus the rubber stops on the bonnet. I will admit that I haven't done a lot of driving because of lockdown, it's winter, I've only cleaner the car once since and I store the car in a garage. Still, I think it's better than I had expected from other reviews.
