The first one ordered which I had to have replaced anyway because some holes didn’t line up did have minor puncture damage from transport but i didn’t think it was that bad until I got my sort of perfect replacement. 2. It is lightweight but sturdy enough. 3. The board where the child stands I didn’t measure but seems to be a good thickness for the purpose. It assembled really easily, looks great, and my 14 month old LOVES it. HOWEVER, in the joints where there are no screws (as in the parts that are pre-assembled), it started coming apart almost immediately. This was really easily remedied with some wood glue, clamps, and patience, but I did see that other reviewers had the same issue, so be aware. Seeing as this is such an easy and cheap fix, it really only dropped one star for me. This has helped so much, especially on the evenings when my partner has class away from home, and my son wants my attention while I'm making dinner or washing up. He likes to see what's going on, and "help." (He's 14 months old... "help" is a very loose term.)
