Mr Monkey Dog Toy with Chew Guard, Large,Lime

My dog absolutely loved this toy as a puppy. He dragged it everywhere with him, and even slept with it. It's the only toy to survive his puppyhood. He's three years old now and still needs to destroy all toys, no matter what the material is...even a black rubber Kong doesn't last more than five minutes with him. Anything with a squeaker in it lasts a few minutes at most. He did manage to chew off the tail during his puppy teething stage. This is because it's sewn on to the body separately, with only about an inch of stitching. Genius design otherwise... The fabric is exceptionally strong. An arm and leg is made as a single tube-style unit which slides through holes in the body; two on each side. This makes the toy perfect for playing tug-of war without fear of ripping off the limbs. It's also a great toy for tossing about in a game of fetch. My dog loves the five squeakers in this toy (one in the body, and one in each of the hands and feet). The loss of its tail did not detract from his pleasure of this otherwise hardy toy. I couldn't throw out his original monkey for sentimental reasons. A few months ago, he found it buried in a basket and resurrected it. It's still his favourite toy so I decided to treat him with a new one, and he loves this one just as much... One month later, all limbs, squeakers, and tail still intact. I highly recommend this toy!

Mis perros le destruier en 2 dias.....

A los perritos les gustó mucho. Si es grande.. algunos tentáculos suenan. Dice que es material resistente, pero este par de perritos de tanto jaloneo sí rompieron un par de tentáculos (aún quedan 6 tentáculos vivos) en una semana. Les gustó mucho a los perritos y sí lo volvería a comprar 😌. Lo recomiendo para perros grandes

I bought this toy for my choccy lab who seems to love soft toys, but then again, what puppy/dog doesn't like soft toys. I went with this one based on the reviews already written by previous customers and because of the ideal that it was virtually indestructible. I have given 5 stars as I believe this is worth the money spent on this item and I do believe that maybe given to an older dog it would indeed be indestructible. However, as I have a 16 week old labrador, whose teeth are coming through, the poor monkey has not lived up to its claims, but I do firmly believe its not because of a product fault. My labrador has managed to chew the tail off (and subsequently regurtitated it) due to constant chewing in that area. Overall I am very happy with the soft toy and I would buy again, but once my puppy is, well, no longer a puppy.

This toy is great! Our Yorkiepoo loves to wrestle with it and push it across our hardwood floors. It’s nice to find a toy that’s indestructible and fun for her to play with. Well worth the money!
