I bought the dark chestnut and it wasnt dark at all. It was like a henna yellow after I had washed it off. The pros was that it didn't irritate my scalp like a regular dye, it smelled good and had a nice consistency for applying. **Q: Will this match dark brown to black hair?** A: Yes! My hair is dyed dark brown and this matched perfect. The only disappointment is it did not last but a few days.
