Where is this item manufactured?

I believe it's a product from France Asked my vet!

Has anyone used this for around the house as opposed to for travel? I spray it a few times only when I have people over but I cant tell if it helps..

I've used it when we moved to a new house, when we got a new piece of furniture, and when guests stayed over and their suitcases were at the front door overnight. Yes, it worked. Spray on hard vertical surfaces on or near the new object, at nose height for your cat. Only lasts 24 hrs, so you may need to reapply. Depends on how anxious/territorial your cat is.

Can you spray in your hands and pet your cat, so the product is in contact with them?

I think the idea is that an object (e.g, furniture, carpet, etc.) that triggers territorial marking with claws or urine acquires a soothing, familiar valence when the object is sprayed with Feliway.The synthetic pheromone scent then has a calming effect on the cat which quells the cat's urge to mark the object. I wouldn't have thought it a good idea to have the cat absorbing the concentration of Feliway that would come from direct skin absorption.

Difference between Ceva and Comfort Zone brands or labels, please?

My daughter has worked in several vet offices and said comfort zone is a knock off. The vets she worked at use the feliway by ceva.

Effective yet tricky!

This does work. The trick is you have to spray everything that is at the level of your cat’s rear end. I sprayed the areas where my cat sprayed and then he found the areas that I didn’t spray with Feliway and then he sprayed there! Because of that I find the amount in the bottle too little. I would like this effective product to be more affordable. Thank you though for stopping 80-90% of the marking issue in my domesticated yet still feral tomcat. The spray smells sort of sweet which I really don’t like, so it’s best to hold your breath, spray the areas and leave till it settles.
