It works for all my smaller devices
I really needed something go charge my devices that did not have a micro usb cable. This particular cable works. One thing to note about this cable is that it doesn’t charge everything. You need to make sure that it transfer l enough energy to power to charge the device. I tried using this on a battery pack I had that uses this port and unfortunately it does not work for it. It does not have enough energy to work. So be aware of that. It does work for devices with low energy such as my shower speakers which is honesty what I needed if for. It does the job for what I need it do. It can power the device to full depending on the source I use a battery pack and power brick and the power brick definitely charges faster. There is not much length to this cable so be sure that you are able connect your device to something that has surface for the device you are charging. The reason being that the plug is thing and you do not want it to bend under weight. The cable material is pretty sturdy and I do not see the neck fraying. Other than that the cable works great and I highly recommend it for charging small devices.

My mistake, so sorry for the review I sent a few minutes ago. I found the cord in the box, and tried it. It works perfectly, so I'll be able to use my cell phone again. Apologies for the confusion!
