Review: Better BHP better MPG ...Result! - Nice product, chose this rather than the next one up with metal tube because the BHP gains were better on this model, came well packed and with full instructions which made it pretty easy to fit, only a couple of slight negatives 1. You had to do a small mod for the breather tube to fit properly (all covered in the instructions), not a big deal but did not expect to have to do that. 2. The other was fitting the bracket to the front cross member, fiddly and easy to drop the fittings down in behind the front valance, just needs a bit of care. Overall though very happy hence the 5 stars, looks good under the bonnet and sounds good when you light it up plus the MPG seems a tad better...bonus!

A: The K&N 57-1542 Air Intake is not currently recommended for the 2015 Dodge Charger 3.6L V6.

A: Yes, be careful with the plastic parts though.

**Q: Amazon says 71-1542 k&n cai wont fit on a 2012 challenger rt 5.7-liter hemi v8. other websites say it will fit. is this the wrong one for me?**
A: It should fit. But I put it on my old Dodge Charger, 2013, so I can’t quite help you with that. BUT, I can say that it was a struggle to get it to fit, the heat shield and then getting the end part to stay on past the heat shield. It takes some elbow grease and some tiny movements to get it in. So keep trying and it might actually fit
