I see that there will be no fading capability. But will the rear speakers still work?

Yes, the rear speakers will still work. I have my stereo set all the way to the front, but it still plays out of all of the speakers. I didn't notice any difference between this setup, and having the fade set to the middle. It's my understanding that the fading issue only relates to cars featuring a stock amplifier, which is the case in my 2006 Grand Cherokee.

I used it with a jeep liberty kk (2009) with premium sound and it works. You can go to the website of pac and look for RP4-CH11's pdf to see the application chart.

Se instalo en un Challenger SRT8 2008!

Yo lo instale en un Dodge Challenger SRT-8 2008 lo cual necesitaba retener la señal del volante y funciono de maravilla. Instale un Pioneer DMH- 241ex y el manual dice que va en el numero 7 del interfaz pero no agarro bien. Lo cambie al numero 8 y funciono de maravilla junto con los controles al volante. Mi carro necesitaba este interfaz debido a que trae sistema amplificado de agencia.
