If i have a gravity feed water line running through this can i make this device turn on a pump? 12V?

Hello, it work with 12V, if the gravity is higher than 0.02MPa, it can turn on a pump.

Another question what is the ID of the water passage

Not sure of the exact measurement but it was pretty small. Also, if you intend on using this with anything more than about 12 Volts and 500 mA I would look elsewhere as this thing will not perform anywhere near the quoted specs. Even worse after it failed on the first use, it failed in the on poition.

I wondering how much this flow switch restricts water flow? Some of the 3/4 inch flow switches I have seen have very restricted water flow.

I’ve not noticed any change in flow since I installed it on the hot water line for our bathtub/shower.
